I am now offering private tuition & mentorship, in a range of skills I have been teaching for the past six years as a qualified tertiary educator, including: music production, video production, photography, recording/mixing/mastering audio, instrument lessons, DJing, Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom. For those wishing to learn a number of skills we can blend subjects to work towards your unique creative goals.
Sessions can be online, or in my own dedicated studio if you’re based in Hawke’s Bay.
Education
I have experience teaching students from high-school age through to retirees, I can assure you it’s never too late or early to spark your creative flow. Beginning or bolstering your creative journey can help with problem solving, confidence and general love of life (in my humble opinion).

My rates are $80 per session (1 hour), or discounted to $330 if you purchase 5 sessions in advance.

I started releasing electronic music under this alias in 2019. It has led to performances at the following festivals:
Samsara (Canada), AUM New Years (x3), Earth Beat (x2), Outfield & Arkadien.
Bass Player: Groove Foundation
Professional working covers band, with a busy summer schedule including a lot of weddings and private functions. In my 2-and-a-half year stint with the band we played over 150 shows. I left the band in April 2024 to further pursue my own music career and to gain my summer weekends back.
Bass Player & Recording/Mixing Engineer: Crystal Kelly
Indie-Rock band from Vancouver, BC. During my time in Canada we would perform regularly around the city while writing and recording our ‘Sunday Night Insomnia’ EP. In the years since leaving Canada I continued to play a small role in the band by mixing & mastering new releases for them.
Bass Player: Heterodox
I wrote, recorded and performed with this band for 7 years until leaving NZ in 2017. We released 'Elixir of Lethe' in 2014, which included national tour dates across New Zealand. This album was highly-rated amongst Sludge-Metal fans, and we shipped CD's to quite obscure places across the globe.
Bass Player: Third I
In the months before leaving for Canada my then-partner Iris Dunn and I started an indie-pop band with a friend, and performed live a few times before embarking on our separate journeys. Iris ended up studying in Wellington before moving to LA and starting a solo project that is seeing big success.

I produced, mixed and mastered Niva-Jean's debut single 'Yours', while also creating a live video to accompany the release.
